Marion attributes her heart’s calling in spiritual mentoring to an early life spent living in many of the world’s most impoverished, developing nations. As a child, unable to speak the indigenous languages, she naturally discovered other ways to communicate successfully and bridge the gap of separation. From these early experiences, she awoke to a profound inner knowing that while wondrously unique in our individuality, life experiences, religious beliefs and cultural backgrounds, each human being shares a common thread of divinity that calls from deep within to live the highest expressions of ourselves. We are all different, yet the same. For many years, following her heart's urging to study spirituality in order to master her own life’s challenges, Marion has drawn upon the richness of all these experiences to formulate "A Course In Spiritual Self-Mastery" to offer to others. Marion has been conducting live seminars, individual and group study, both in-person and online since 1998.
Marion’s perspectives on human potential are reflected in her unique style of personal mentoring, encouraging those whom she mentors to engage in consciously aligning with their highest purpose and heart's calling. In discovering the profoundly life-altering inner peace that this form of self-inquiry brings, she believes that we are each then able to extend our peace and compassion out into the world as living emissaries.
A spiritual mentor is a valuable source of support and is to be regarded as a peer who is also walking the path of spiritual self-mastery. It is someone who can offer understanding and insight in the process of awakening to your inborn divinity and the unique challenges and opportunities that a conscious spiritual path will inevitably hold.
A spiritual mentor does not seek to provide answers, to offer specific advice or counseling, recognizing that we are each innately equipped with the capability of finding our own spiritually-founded answers. A spiritual mentor, therefore, only seeks to encourage the discovery of these answers through active listening and mirroring throughout the empowering process of self-inquiry and personal assessment, occasionally offering expanded perspectives of the visions held by you.
When embarking upon any path to conscious self-inquiry, it is possible that painful past life issues may arise for which specific professional counseling may also be required. These may include things such as the experience of child abuse, addictions, divorce or other such life crises. It is important, therefore, to recognize that although the pursuance of a conscious spiritual path holds the potential for bringing tremendous healing in all of these kinds of situations, the intention of a spiritual mentor is in no way intended to be a substitute for professional advice and guidance. Should such a situation arise, it is highly recommended that you seek out a fully certified expert, trained in the specific area of counseling for which you would require further guidance.
